Robine Sabat

Université de Lille

Background

My name is Robine SABAT. I am 24 years old and of a Lebanese nationality. I got my bachelor degree in pure physics at the Lebanese university LU. My master 2 was about Nanotechnology and functional materials, it was a selective master. My master 2 traineeship was in collaboration of two universities: The Lebanese university (LU) and the American university of Beirut (AUB). Our study was on the characterization of nanostructured thin layers of ZnO doped with Aluminum (Al). Its objective was to increase the photovoltaic efficiency of solar cells. We used the three techniques of characterizations: Raman, FTIR and UV-Visible to detect the difference between ZnO thin layers and ZnO nanostructures and the effect of doping on these samples. In addition, we processed a theoretical study using the Kramers-Kronig technique to determine some properties of this material like refractive index, permittivity

My participation in INSPIRE aims to develop my knowledge in the acoustic field and extend my theoretical and practical understanding of materials.

Second, the importance of being a part of a work that helps in solving habitual life problems and improve my abilities to understand and solve problems. Third, INSPIRE can and will improve my communication skills and anticipate my chances in finding a better job even in fields apart from academics.

Discovering new regions, Camping, Reading books, Hair styling, Scouts, Dancing.
